Connect an AI assistant

ChatGPT

   Open ChatGPT connector settings and turn on Developer mode (read the notice shown there). If it's unavailable, ask your ChatGPT admin to enable it.

   Open the New plugin dialog.

   Name it Bands For Brothers and paste your connection link above into the URL field.

   Review the details, tick “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this for every custom connector), then click Create and sign in to approve.

   Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it — e.g. “show me recent Brothers Board posts”.

Claude

   Open the add-connector form with everything filled in

   Review the details, click Add, then sign in to approve.

   If the prefilled form doesn't open, open Claude's Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name it Bands For Brothers and paste your connection link above.

   Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

   Run this one line in a terminal:

   Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm Bands For Brothers is connected — sign in from that menu if it asks.

   Open your assistant's MCP server or custom connector settings.

   Create a new remote MCP server connection.

   Name it and paste your connection link above.

   Finish any sign-in or approval prompts.

   Enable the connection, then ask the assistant to use it.

Refresh after the app changes

A connected assistant remembers the tools it first saw. When the site updates, refresh the connection so it picks up the latest:

• ChatGPT: open the Plugins page, select this app, scroll to “Information” and click Refresh. If your link changed, delete the app and connect again with the latest link above.
• Claude: open the Connectors page, select this connector and refresh its tools. If your link changed, remove it and connect again with the latest link above.
• Claude Code: start a new session — it loads the latest tools automatically. If your link changed, run claude mcp remove bands-for-brothers then the install command again.
• Other assistants: open the connection's settings and refresh, reload, or reconnect — pasting the latest link if it changed — then start a new chat.
