The movement
One Million Brothers Talking
Every conversation starts with one brother having the courage to speak and another brother choosing to listen and respond. That's the whole thing — anonymous, both ways, a million times over.

How we count
The counter measures total contributions to the conversation. It goes up by one every time a brother says something anonymously through A Brother Said, and by one every time a brother answers someone on BrothersBoard. Speaking and listening count the same, because a conversation needs both.
We count in public, honestly. No inflated figures, no seeded totals. What you see on the counter is what men have actually said and actually answered — and the breakdown under it shows you exactly where each number comes from.
Why a million?
Around three in four UK suicides are men. The reason isn't that men feel less — it's that far more of what they feel never leaves their head. Every one of those unsaid things is a small, private weight, and enough of them stacked up is what breaks people.
A million is deliberately enormous. It's a number you can't hit with a campaign, a poster or a hashtag alone — only with a million individual decisions to speak, or to answer someone who has. That's the point. The number isn't the goal; the conversation is. The number just makes it visible.

How it works
- 01
You say it — A Brother Said
Pick a feeling, add words if you want, send. One-way. No replies unless you ask for them. Counted as a contribution instantly.
- 02
Another brother answers — BrothersBoard
Share it to the board and other men relate, reply and send quiet support. You can also just read, which is where most men start.
- 03
You pass it on
Share the link, print a poster, stick the QR in a changing room or a van. One share puts this in front of men who'd never search for it.
How we protect you
Before you say anything
You stay anonymous
No account, no email, no name. We never store your IP against anything you write. Nothing you say can be traced back to you.
Every word is checked
An automated safety check runs before anything is published, humans review what it flags, and every decision is logged.
What happens after
Your words are counted toward the challenge and may be shared — anonymised — on the board or our channels so another brother sees he isn't the only one.
