Short version

We use almost no cookies. We don't run ad trackers. We don't share your behaviour with third parties for marketing.

What we actually store on your device

bb_device_id (local storage) — a random UUID so you can react/delete your own posts. No identifying info.
bb_last_visit (local storage) — the date you last opened BrothersBoard, used to highlight new posts since you were last here.
bb_prefill (session storage) — temporarily holds a draft when you move from A Brother Said to BrothersBoard. Cleared as soon as it's used.
Cart cookie (Shopify) — only set if you add an item to the basket, so the basket survives a page refresh.

Clearing them

You can clear browser storage at any time via your browser settings. Doing so means you'll get a new device ID, but your anonymous posts will still exist (we just won't be able to tie them back to you).
